Microbiology
The field of microbiology focuses on investigation of microscopic organisms such as bacteria, fungi, and viruses. We carry a wide range of products applicable to microbiological research.

Biofilm Research
Biofilms are communities of microorganisms that form on the surfaces of artificial materials, living tissues or at air-liquid interfaces. They can develop on medical implants such as catheters and artificial joints, and on teeth as plaque. In brewing, dairy, and meat-processing environments, biofilms sometimes trigger infections and can have serious consequences.

Microbial Staining
The prototypical staining method for microbes is known as Gram staining. Devised in the late 19th century by the Danish bacteriologist Hans Christian Gram, this technique broadly divides microorganisms into Gram-positive bacteria, which stain purple, and Gram-negative bacteria, which stain red.

Antibiotics
Antibiotics are antimicrobial agents produced by microorganisms, classified structurally into groups such as aminoglycosides, cephems (cephalosporins), penicillins and macrolides. Semi-synthetic derivatives created through partial chemical modification of these compounds are also generally deemed antibiotics. We offer an extensive lineup of antibiotics, organized both by structural class and by application.

Antibacterials Testing Disk System
In pig and poultry farming, antibiotics are added to feed to improve production efficiency. As a result, it is critical to be able to confirm quickly whether these added antibiotics remain in meat and etc. By using an antibiotic-identification disk system, one can rapidly determine the presence of residual antibiotics and, when detected, quantify their levels.

Efflux Pump Research
Efflux pumps are transport proteins that expel toxic substances out of bacterial cells. Because they are also used to expel antimicrobial agents, efflux pumps play a key role in antimicrobial resistance and therefore are extremely relevant to clinical practice.

Quorum Sensing Research
Quorum sensing (QS) is a form of cell-to-cell communication that enables bacteria to share information about their environment and modulate gene expression. QS controls bacterial behaviors such as the secretion of virulence factors and the formation of biofilms.
