(+)-MK 801 maleate (its other name: dizocilpine maleate) is a potent, selective and non-competitive N-methyl-D-aspartate (NMDA) receptor antagonist, and has been reported to display various physiological effects, mainly involving the central nervous system.1-3) Therefore, (+)-MK 801 maleate has been used as an important tool for the screening of antipsychotic potential of new compounds.4) (The product is for research purpose only.)
