Application
無脊椎動物の生体モノアミン系神経伝達物質,オクトパミン塩酸塩
Octopamine, a biogenic monoamine structurally related to noradrenaline [A0906 (bitartrate)], functions as a neuromodulator, neurotransmitter, and neurohormone in invertebrate nervous systems. Octopamine binds to a G-protein coupled receptor, thereby increases intracellular calcium and 3',5'-cyclic AMP (cAMP) levels. In addition, octopamine receptor agonists, such as amitraz [A2608], are used for pesticides.
