Salvianolic Acid B: A Phenolic Acid of Caffeic Acid Derivative with Cardiovascular and Other Pharmacological Effects
Salvianolic acid B is a natural phenolic acid of caffeic acid derivative contained in Salvia miltiorrhiza root of the most widely used traditional Chinese medicine for the treatment of various cardiovascular diseases. Salvianolic acid B have been found to have a wide range of cardiovascular and other pharmacological effects, including anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory activities due to its polyphenolic structure.
