Glycopyrrolate (NVA237): A Long-Acting Muscarinic Receptor Antagonist (LAMA)
Glycopyrrolate (NVA237) is a synthetic anticholinergic agent and a long-acting muscarinic receptor antagonist (LAMA). It does not cross the blood–brain barrier and consequently has no or few central nervous effects. It has recently been approved as a once-daily treatment for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). (The product is for research purpose only.)
