Application
Clinofibrate: An Inhibitor of 3α-Hydroxysteroid Dehydrogenases (3α-HSD)
Clinofibrate (S-8527) and bezafibrate [B3346] are orally active antihyperlipidemic agents inhibiting human liver 3α-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenases (3α-HSD). They reduce plasma cholesterol levels and show antihyperlipidemic effects in vivo. (The product is for research purpose only.)
