Andarine: A Non-Steroidal Selective Androgen Receptor Modulator (SARM)
Andarine (also known as S-4) is a non-steroidal selective androgen receptor modulator (SARM) demonstrating tissue-selective androgenic and anabolic effects. Reportedly, the strong anabolic effects of andarine in skeletal muscle, bone, and pituitary are achieved with minimal pharmacological effect in the prostate. SARMs, including andarine, have a high potential to be performance enhancers in human and animal sports, and were added to the prohibited list established by the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) in 2008. Therefore, the effective detection of andarine and its metabolites in human urine has been studied. (The product is for research purpose only.)
