Calcium folinate: a Pharmaceutical Adjuvant for Folate Antagonists and 5-Fluorouracil
Calcium folinate is used as to reduce the harmful effects of folate antagonists such as methotrexate [M1664]. Calcium folinate is also used in synergistic combination with 5-fluorouracil [F0151] to enhance of its antitumor effect.
