Ferroptocide: A Thioredoxin Inhibitor
Ferroptocide has been reported as an inhibitor of thioredoxin, which is a class of small redox proteins known to be a key component of the antioxidant system in the cell. Ferroptocide has been reported to positively modulate the immune system in a mouse model of breast cancer. Therefore, ferroptocide is expected to be a useful tool for cancer research.
