Application
Ethamsylate: A Platelet Adhesive Agent
Ethamsylate is an inhibitor of prostaglandin biosynthesis. Recent studies have been showed that ethamsylate promotes P-selectin-dependent, platelet adhesive mechanisms. It is used as a synthetic hemostatic agent.
