Germacrone: A Component in Curcumae Rhizoma with a Wide Range of Biological Activities
Germacrone is one of the main bioactive components in the traditional Chinese medicine Curcumae Rhizoma.1-3) It has been shown to possess a wide range of biological activities, such as antitumor, anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory, and antivirus properties.4-7) In addition, syntheses of bioactive substances from germacrone have been reported.7,8) (The product is for research purpose only.)
