			Oxymatrine: A Bioactive Alkaloid Found in the Roots of Sophora Species
		
		Oxymatrine and matrine [M2120] are alkaloids found in the roots of Sophora species that have diverse pharmacological activities.  They have been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiviral, antifibrotic, and cardiovascular protective effects.  Recently, they have been reported to have anti-cancer potentials, such as inhibition of cancer cell proliferation.  (The product is for research purpose only.)
