Y-27632: A Rho associated Coiled-Coil Forming Protein Serine/Threonine Kinase (ROCK) Inhibitor
Y-27632 is a cell-permeable and selective Rho associated coiled-coil forming protein serine/threonine kinase (ROCK) inhibitor. ROCK is a serine-threonine protein kinase that has been identified as a target protein for the small GTP-binding protein Rho. It has been reported that ROCK is involved in various physiological function, including smooth muscle contraction and changes in cell morphology. ROCK inhibitors are expected to be applied to stem cell research reagents as well as to agents for hypertension and glaucoma. (The product is for research purpose only.)
