Zotepine: A Dibenzothiepine Tricyclic Serotonin and Dopamine Antagonist
Zotepine is a dibenzothiepine tricyclic serotonin and dopamine antagonist that has a high affinity for serotonin 5-HT2A and 5-HT2C, and dopamine D1 and D2 receptors. Zotepine activities are also related to the inhibition of noradrenaline reuptake. In clinical, zotepine has been used as an antipsychotic agent. (The product is for research purpose only.)
