Application
Fenhexamid: An Anti-Botrytis Fungicide with the Inhibition of Ergosterol Biosynthesis
Fenhexamid, a hydroxyanilide type anti-botrytis fungicide, was first introduced in 2000 for the gray mold control in vineyards. Fenhexamid inhibits the 3-ketoreductase enzyme involved in the major fungal sterol (ergosterol [E0018]) biosynthesis at the C4-demethylation steps, and inhibits ergosterol biosynthesis. (The product is for research purpose only.)
