Application
Halobetasol propionate: A Super-Potent Corticosteroid
Halobetasol propionate is a super-potent corticosteroid with additional fluorine at the 6α position when compared with clobetasol 17-propionate [C2612]. The additional fluorine in the 6α position further increases its topical anti-inflammatory and antiproliferative activities. In addition, an ointment formulation in combination of halobetasol propionate and fusidic acid [F1007] for treatment of dermal conditions have been reported. (The product is for research purpose only.)
