Fullerene C60 is a typical n-type organic semiconductor material that has been studied actively in the field of organic electronics such as organic field-effect transistor (OFET) materials and organic photovoltaic celsl (OPVs). available at TCI, Fullerene C60 (pure) [B1641] has a high purity grade, excellent performance, and a high-mobility n-type OFET material.  Additional studies include fabrication and evaluation of OFET devices within TCI labs.

New Products for Organic Semiconductor Building Blocks

Isolability in a chemically pure form is a key feature of small molecule organic semiconductors. Therefore, it's possible to determine structures using a single crystal structure analysis and then possible to fabricate a thin-layer and to purify it by vacuum deposition. TCI offers many building blocks that allow for the synthesis of organic materials by metal-catalyzed cross-coupling reactions.

Ionic Liquids

Ionic Liquids

Ionic liquids are salts composed of cations such as imidazolium ions, pyridinium ions and anions such as BF4-, PF6- that are liquid at relatively low temperatures. Their characteristic properties include: essentially no vapor pressure, non-flammability, high thermal stability, relatively low viscosity, liquid state over extended temperature ranges, and high ionic conductivity. With such viable characteristics for renewable energy, ionic liquids can be used electrochemically and as electrolytes in rechargeable batteries.
