Welcome to TCI
This is the time of year we are especially thankful for the valuable research our colleagues in the life science field conduct in combating our seasonal ailments. To this end, we focus this newsletter on reagents that will help advance your cold and flu research. In addition to offering diphenylcyclohexanes for pharmacokinetics optimization, see our high-quality vitamins, antivirals, our antibiotic ingredients for drug-resistant pathogens, and more.
Diphenylcyclohexane Derivatives

Diphenylcyclohexane Derivatives for Optimization of Pharmacokinetics in Blood

Ethyl 6-[(2-cyanoethoxy)(4,4-diphenylcyclohexyloxy)phosphoryloxy]hexanoate [E1313] is utilized for the improvement of peptide half-life in vivo. When peptides are modified with E1313, the half-life increased roughly 50-fold compared to a non-modified peptide, according to Kerry Zobel et al. The report is based on the notion that the diphenylcyclohexyl phosphate moiety of E1313 or E1268 has a high affinity to serum albumin.

Vitamins

Vitamins

Vitamins are a group of organic compounds and nutrients essential for normal growth and a variety of biological functions. In general, vitamins are classified into thirteen groups and any deficiencies can lead to specific diseases. For example, Beriberi is a disease caused by a vitamin B1 [T0181] deficiency and can lead to heart and circulatory system issues. In extreme and untreated cases, it can cause heart failure. To this end, make sure you are using the highest quality vitamins in your research by using the various vitamins and vitamin derivatives offered by TCI.

Antiviral Ingredients for Research and Experimental Use

Antiviral Ingredients for Research and Experimental Use

Viruses are extremely efficient at infecting living, and otherwise healthy, organisms. Antivirals are mainly composed of modified nucleosides such as azidothymidine [A2052] and help inhibit the virus forming cycle in host-cells. TCI offers various antiviral ingredients that inhibit the formation and proliferation of viruses.

Antibiotic Ingredients for Drug-Resistant Pathogens

With the emergence of drug-resistant pathogens like the methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus Aureus (MRSA) or the vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus (VRE), there is an increasing global threat to our health and well-being. With research being critical, see the high-quality antibiotics for resistance research provided by TCI.
