Diphenylcyclohexane Derivatives for Optimization of Pharmacokinetics in Blood

Ethyl 6-[(2-cyanoethoxy)(4,4-diphenylcyclohexyloxy)phosphoryloxy]hexanoate [E1313] is utilized for the improvement of peptide half-life in vivo. When peptides are modified with E1313, the half-life increased roughly 50-fold compared to a non-modified peptide, according to Kerry Zobel et al. The report is based on the notion that the diphenylcyclohexyl phosphate moiety of E1313 or E1268 has a high affinity to serum albumin.
