PEGylation Reagents & PEG Spacers

 PEG (Poly(Ethylene Glycol))-containing bioconjugation reagents include reagents for various molecule modifications (PEGylation), as well as crosslinkers containing PEG as a spacer. PEGylation reagents have only one active group at one terminal of its own molecule and are used specially for covalently binding PEG to any target molecules. Meanwhile, the PEG type crosslinkers have active groups at both terminals of its molecules and are used for joining two or more molecules together simultaneously with PEGylation. PEGylation reagents and PEG type crosslinkers are widely used in drug discovery of biopharmaceuticals, ADC (Antibody-Drug Conjugates), PDC (Peptide-Drug Conjugates), DDS (Drug Delivery Systems), as well as manufacturing of activated resin/beads and other applications.
