Application

Viral RNA Polymerase Inhibitor

H1485

3-Hydroxypyrazine-2-carboxamide (T-1105) is reported as an antiviral compound with broad activity against influenza virus and diverse RNA viruses. Its ribose-5’-triphosphate is the active metabolite, and it is recognized by virus RNA polymerase as a substrate competing with guanosine 5'-triphosphate (GTP), giving inhibition of viral RNA synthesis. For your reference, favipiravir (T-705) [CAS: 259793-96-9], an antiviral agent, is an analog adding the 6-fluoro atom. (The product is for research purpose only.)
