MM3D: Fluorogenic Probe for Real-Time Measurement of ENGase Activity

endo-β-N-acetylglucosaminidase is involved in the processing of free oligosaccharides in the cytosol. It hydrolyzes the chitobiose moiety of N-glycan. Our product MM3D [M3174], a N-glycan features both a fluorescent- and a quencher group in its structure. Cleavage of MM3D by ENGase removes the self-quenching acitvity, leading to an increase in fluorescence intensity. MM3D has shown to be useful for high throughput analysis with plate readers, and in the search for new types of ENGase or its inhibitor(s).

Anti-sugar Antibodies

Anti-sugar antibodies can recognize glycolipids or glycoproteins.  These antibodies can be used for immunohistochemistry, inhibition assays for cell adhesion, flow cytometry, ELISA, TLC-immunostaining and other methods. Try TCI antibodies as useful tools for analyzing the expression of carbohydrate chains and their functions. TCI produces, for example, antibodies against glycolipids or ganglio-, globo-, lacto-, and neo-lacto series.

Water-soluble Biocompatible Polymers

Poly(2-oxazoline)s are biocompatible and non-immunogenic pseudo-polypeptide-structured polymers. ULTROXA® Poly(2-methyl-2-oxazoline) [P2506], a highly-defined polymer with narrow molar mass distribution developed by Ghent University, is more hydrophilic than poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG). ULTROXA® Poly(2-propyl-2-oxazoline) [P2508] transitions to a hydrophobic state in water when heated. Poly(2-oxazoline)s are applicable to surface coating, drug delivery systems, and thermoresponsive material.
