New Grade Reagents Optimized for Cell Culture
Our “Optimized for Cell Culture” reagent series, such as CHIR 99021 [C4010], has passed tests for the absence of endotoxins and mycoplasma, providing peace of mind when working with especially valuable samples, such as organoids and iPSCs—ideal for applications in disease modeling and regenerative medicine research.
Sialidase - Enzyme for Releasing Terminal Sialic Acids
Sialidase [I1205] is an exoglycosidic enzyme that hydrolyzes and removes sialic acids located at the non-reducing termini of glycans. Sialic acids also play critical roles in cell–cell interactions by participating in processes such as molecular recognition and masking of target molecules, thereby contributing to a range of physiological and pathological events. Our sialidase exhibits broad substrate specificity, effectively cleaving α2-3, α2-6, and α2-8 linked sialic acids. Its activity is independent of linkage type, enabling compatibility with a wide variety of glycan structures. Therefore, it is well-suited for evaluating glycan modifications, analyzing disease-associated glycoforms, and application in various experimental systems.
MitoBADY: Mitochondria-selective Raman Probe
MitoBADY [M3830] is a Raman probe for mitochondrial imaging. MitoBADY consists of a triphenylphosphonium moiety as a lipophilic cation for targeting mitochondria and a bisarylbutadiyne moiety (BADY), which exhibits strong Raman intensity. It was confirmed that MitoBADY is useful as a mitochondrial marker in Raman imaging of the HeLa cell. Therefore, MitoBADY is anticipated in the use of a wide range of applications.
Raw Materials for the Synthesis of Pyrrole–imidazole Polyamide to Recognize DNA Sequences
Pyrrole-imidazole polyamides (PIPs) can recognize a DNA sequence in minor groove and form a complex with the DNA. PIPs have Py (pyrrole)/Py (pyrrole) or Py (pyrrole)/Im (imidazole) pairs, which can recognize specific DNA base pairs via hydrogen bonds. We offer amino protected pyrrole and imidazole blocks for the synthesis of PIPs. In addition, we supply Fmoc-PyIm-OH [F1315], a condensed PyIm block.
