Announcement: Deprecation of TLS protocol versions 1.0 and 1.1

In order to strengthen the security of TCI’s website, we are invalidating "TLS 1.0" and "TLS 1.1" of the Internet communication encryption method. As a result, you may not be able to browse part of our web content from older browser versions. If you cannot view it, please activate "TLS 1.2" in the security setting of your browser, or upgrade your version.

TLS encrypts communication contents to prevent peeking and tampering of communication content by third parties. "TLS1.2" has higher security strength than "TLS1.0" and "TLS1.1".

The transition period is Saturday, October 20, 2018 to Wednesday, October 31, 2018.

Since the following environment does not correspond to "TLS 1.2," after deprecating TLS 1.0 / 1.1 a message such as "Page cannot be displayed" is shown. (The message varies depending on the use environment.)
  1. Desktop - Browser versions before Internet Explorer 10.0
  2. Mobile/Smartphone - The standard browser on iOS 4 or earlier, Android 4.4 or earlier releases
Please be aware that "TLS 1.2" may not be activated in the browser security setting even in other use environments.

If you have any questions regarding this the new TLS Protocol, please reach out to TCI at
