Oxymatrine: A Bioactive Alkaloid Found in the Roots of Sophora Species
Oxymatrine and matrine [M2120] are alkaloids found in the roots of Sophora species that have diverse pharmacological activities. They have been shown to have anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antiviral, antifibrotic, and cardiovascular protective effects.
