Dehydrocostus Lactone: A Natural Sesquiterpene with Various Bioactivities
Dehydrocostus lactone is a natural sesquiterpene first isolated from Saussurea costus root, which is used in traditional medicine.1) Pharmacological experiments have demonstrated the ability of dehydrocostus lactone to exhibit anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-ulcer, anti-cancer and hepatoprotective activities.2-5) (The product is for research purpose only.)
