Application
Aminating Agent
Experimental procedure: To a stirred solution of 1 (304 mg, 1.01 mmol), L-ethyl lactate (228 µL, 2.01 mmol) and triphenylphosphine (528 mg, 2.01 mmol) of in benzene (3 mL) is slowly added diethyl azodicarboxylate (217 µL, 2.01 mmol) of at room temperature under argon. After 30 min the reaction mixture is concentrated in vacuo and the residue is purified by chromatography on silica gel (CH2Cl2-hexane) to give 2 (370 mg, 91% yield) as a yellow solid.
