Moronic Acid: A Natural Triterpene with Anti-Virus Activities

Moronic acid is a natural triterpene and can be extracted from traditional medicinal plants such as a sumac plant (Rhus javanica) and mistletoe (Phoradendron reichenbachianum). Moronic acid and its derivatives have been shown to anti-herpes simplex virus (HSV), anti-HIV and anti-Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) activities. (The product is for research purpose only.)
