This product is supplied as a ready-to-use solution containing 2,2'-Azinobis(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic Acid Ammonium Salt) (= AzBTS) and hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) for ELISA. When this product is reacted with horseradish peroxidase (HRP), a green soluble reaction product appears. Its absorbance can be measured at 405 nm.
Direction for Use
The following steps are for a 96-well plate format.
- Bring AzBTS solution (Product No. A3176) to room temperature.
- Gently mix the AzBTS solution (Product No. A3176).
- Add 100μL of AzBTS solution (Product No. A3176) to each well.
- Incubate the plate at room temperature for 30 minutes.
- Within 1 hour from start the reaction, measure the absorbance of each well at 405 nm.
Storage
The product should be stored at 4 °C, and used within 6 months. Don’t freeze because of arising precipitate.
