TCI offers an extensive catalog of over 30,000 high quality organic reagents suitable for benchtop-to-bulk chemistry. This issue covers our chemistry topics as follows:
- Iodinated Fluorescein for Various Applications
- Esterification Using N,N-DMF Di-tert-Butyl Acetal
- Reductive Amination Reaction Using Sodium Triacetoxyborohydride
- Condensation Reaction with a Capsule Reagent containing DMT-MM
- TCIMAIL 197

Iodinated Fluorescein for Various Applications
Fluorescein is widely used as a green fluorescence dye and is known to exhibit excellent absorption and emission properties. Halogenated fluoresceins, represented by Tetraiodofluorescein [T0124], show a red shift in excitation wavelength and fluorescence wavelength compared to fluorescein. T0124 has been reported to be applied to organic photocatalytic reactions due to its excellent photocatalytic performance of iodine on the xanthene ring.

Esterification Using N,N-DMF Di-tert-Butyl Acetal
We are proud to present the tert-butyl esterification of N-acetyl-L-phenylalanine using N,N-DMF di-tert-butyl acetal [D1303].

Reductive Amination Reaction Using Sodium Triacetoxyborohydride
We introduce to present reductive amination reaction of m-anisaldehyde using sodium triacetoxyborohydride [S0394] and dimethylamine hydrochloride.

Condensation Reaction with a Capsule Reagent containing DMT-MM
We are proud to present the condensation reaction of 4-bromobenzoic acid and morpholine using the capsule reagent [R0294]. This reagent can eliminate the need for weighing. Each capsule contains 0.30 mmol of DMT-MM, a condensing agent.

Printed Magazine: TCIMAIL 197
Released in November 2024, TCI's latest issue features Prof. Shigeru Yamago’s article “Organotellurium-Mediated Radical Polymerization (TERP)” and Teacher Hiroyuki Onuki's chemistry chat “When a Teacher Is at a Loss in High School”.
We also feature research on:
Versatile Trifluoromethylthiolating Reagent: TTST
Diurea and Triurea Derivatives for the Synthesis of Highly Crystalline COFs
Spiroheptadiene Reagents to React with Maleimide to Modify Antibodies
