DBenQ: A Selective Reversible, and ATP-Competitive p97 Inhibitor
DBenQ has been reported as a selective reversible, and ATP-competitive p97 inhibitor. p97 is an important cellular AAA (ATPases associated with diverse cellular activities) ATPase, and is shown to play a critical role in the degradation of misfolded membrane and secretory proteins and also is linked to a broad array of cellular processes. Therefore, selective p97 inhibitors are valuable research tools to carry out mechanistic and cellular investigations of p97 biology.
