Description

• Insulin, a peptide hormone secreted by pancreatic beta cells, plays a crucial role in regulating glucose homeostasis in the body. It has also been recognized as a key regulator of cellular growth, differentiation, and survival. Insulin suppled in cell culture media has been shown to efficiently promote cell expansion and enhanced differentiation potential.
• This Product has been Filter-Sterilized, and tested for cytotoxicity and the presence of endotoxins and mycoplasma.

Composition

• This product comprises 20 mg of pichia pastoris-expressed human recombinant insulin in a 4 mg/mL solution.

Direction for Use

• Dilute in cell culture media to a final concentration of 0.1 mg/mL - 1 mg/mL.

Storage

• Stable at −20 °C. Aliquot as necessary and avoid multiple freeze/thaw cycles.
