Application
Trimethylsilylating Reagent for GC Derivatization
Experimental procedure: TMS-HT (1 mL) is added to a sample (ca. 1 mg) in a vessel (preferably a vial of 2 mL capacity), and then it is sealed and shaken (crystals of ammonium chloride are precipitated). The supernatant is injected into the GC column. In some cases, it is needed to heat to complete the reaction.
