Calycosin is an isoflavone and a kind of typical phytoestrogen found in the traditional Chinese medicine Radix Astragali (Astragalus root), a popular herbal medicine used to treat allergic diseases in Korea, Japan and China.1) The potential pharmaceutical properties of calycosin in the treatment of tumors, inflammation, stroke and cardiovascular disease have received increasing attention in recent years.2-4) (The product is for research use only.)
