TCI's Technical Webinar

Over the past decade, ICT's research group has been working on the development of sustainable catalytic solutions to promote catalytic processes, especially C―N, C―O and C―S bond formation reactions in heteroarenes, nucleosides, nucleotides, and peptides under mild conditions, possibly at ambient temperature. Water-solubility and subtle electronic control of the developed catalytic systems are the key features that have allowed research group to solve many key research problems, as well as a few industrially relevant problems. Another important part of research is the development of fluorescent reagents that can be useful in areas such as fluorescent metal sensing, protein sensing, and cancer biology. All of these catalysts, reagents, due to their applicability, are of commercial interest and the research talk will be detailing this journey.
