Chicken anti-protein A polyclonal antibody is developed in a chicken host by using purified recombinant protein A. Chicken anti-protein A antibody is then highly purified by immunoaffinity chromatography. Since chicken IgY is not captured by protein A, chicken anti-protein A antibody can be utilized for protein A detection by ELISA and immunoblotting.
