Recyclable Polymer Supported Tungsten Catalyst Usable for Epoxidation Reactions
Experimental procedure: A flask is charged with 2.52 mmol of 1, 5.05 mmol of 30% aqueous H2O2, and 1.26 µmol of P1697. After the mixture is stirred vigorously at room temperature for 7 h, AcOEt is added, and P1697 is filtered. The organic layer is separated, washed with saturated aqueous Na2S2O3, dried in vacuo, and purified by flash column chromatography to give the epoxy alcohol 2 in 96% yield.
