Description
This product contains 50 µg of recombinant human FGF2 produced in E. Coli, lyophilized from a 1mg/mL solution containing 20mM Tris-HCl (pH 7.4) and 1M NaCl. Recombinant human FGF2 comprises a 154 amino acid-length, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain, with a molecular mass of 17.2kDa. FGF2 is a common medium additive in both 2D and 3D cell culture; aside from being a potent mitogenic factor, FGF2 is able to stimulate the proliferation of a wide variety of mesothelial and neuroectodermal cells both in vitro and in vivo.
