WIN 55212-2 Mesylate: A High Affinity Cannabinoid Receptor Agonist
WIN 55212-2 mesylate is a high affinity cannabinoid (CB) receptor agonist. It is known that CB receptors inhibit the release of various transmitters such as glutamate, GABA, and acetylcholine (ACh) through endogenous cannabinoids that are present in the presynaptic membrane and released from the postsynaptic membrane. Therefore, the activation of CB receptors by WIN 55212-2 have recently studied as a possible treatment of stress- and anxiety- related disorders. (The product is for research purpose only.)
