AMP-活性化プロテインキナーゼ（AMPK）活性化剤

A769662 (1)はAMP-活性化プロテインキナーゼ（AMPK）の細胞透過性活性化剤です¹⁾。1は部分精製されたラット肝AMPKを活性化（EC₅₀ = 0.8 μM）し、ラット肝細胞の脂肪酸合成を阻害（IC₅₀ = 3.2 μM）します¹⁾ 。
1はまた、精製したラット肝細胞AMPKを有意に活性化し（EC₅₀ = 116 nM）、その活性化はAMPによる場合に比べ て50倍強いものです²⁾。1によるAMPKの活性化の機構は、アロステリックなものと酵素の172残基目のThrの脱リン酸化の阻害によるものです³⁾。さらに、1は体細胞の人工多能性幹細胞（iPSC）への再プログラミングと⁴⁾、間葉系幹細胞の増殖を阻害します⁵⁾。
