Saikosaponin D: An Active Component of Radix Bupleuri
Saikosaponin A [A3408], C [A3189], and D are triterpenoid saponins, and are isolated form Radix Bupleuri which has been used as a traditional medicine for more than 2000 years in Asia countries. It has been reported that they exert diverse biological activities, including anti-inflammatory, antitumor, antiviral, anti-allergic, immunoregulation, and neuroregulation activities mainly through NF-κB, MAPK or other pathways. (The product is for research purpose only.)
