Spore Germination Inhibitor
L-Phenylalanine (P0134) is one of the amino acids known as a bacterial spore germinant.1) It has been reported that D-phenylalanine failed to induce germination of Clostridium sporogenes or C. botulinum spores but prevented germination induced by L-phenylalanine.2)。
