Thianthrenium Salt Useful for Electrophilic Vinylation
5-Vinylthianthrenium tetrafluoroborate [E1521] is a crystalline solid stable against air and moisture. E1521 can be used for N-vinylation of nitrogen-containing heteroaromatic compounds and for vinylation via Suzuki-Miyaura type cross-coupling reaction. In addition, it has been reported that the annulation of heterocycles proceeds by using E1521 as the C-2 unit.
Safe and Easy-to-handle Trifluoromethoxylating Agent: TFNf
TFNf [T4150] is a safe, easy-to-handle and stable liquid that functions as a practical generator of active CF3O anion species. TFNf enables trifluoromethoxylation of electrophilic substrates such as alkyl halides and triflates, unsaturated and aromatic compounds. Therefore the trifluoromethoxylation using TFNf is expected to be useful for the synthesis of biologically active compounds and drug discovery studies.
TCI Practical Example: Z-Stereoselective Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons Olefination via Still-Gennari Method
TCI introduces the Z-selective olefination of p-tolualdehyde using bis(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl) (methoxycarbonylmethyl)phosphonate [B1714] as a Horner-Wadsworth-Emmons reagent.

We are proud to present the preparation of diazonium salt from p-anisidine using tBuONO [N0357] and followed by the Sandmeyer reaction to introduce the iodo group.
