Application
Naringin: A Flavanone Glycoside with Numerous Biological Properties such as Antioxidant and Anti-Inflammatory Activities

Naringin, a major flavanone glycoside, is found in the Chinese herbal medicines, tomatoes, grapefruits, and many other citrus fruits, and is a glycoside form of naringenin [N0072]. It has been demonstrated to possess numerous biological properties such as antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activities. Naringin and naringenin inhibit some drug-metabolizing cytochrome P450 (CYP) 3A4 activity in human liver microsomes, which may result in drug-drug interactions. (The product is for research purpose only.)
