Trimethobenzamide Hydrochloride: A Benzamide Derivative Used as an Antiemetic Agent
Trimethobenzamide hydrochloride (Ro 2-9578) is a benzamide derivative which has been used as an antiemetic agent used to prevent nausea and vomiting. Although the mechanism of action remains unknown exactly, it works by blocking one of the chemical messengers that stimulates nausea and vomiting. (The product is for research purpose only.)
