Supplemental Product Information:

A tissue clearing method "CUBIC" has been developed by Prof. Hiroki R. Ueda and coworkers at The University of Tokyo / RIKEN. The CUBIC technique enables cyclopedic imaging at a single-cell resolution following whole-body and whole-organ clearing. CUBIC reagents which can be used in the tissue clearing method are provided by TCI.
*CUBIC reagents are commercialized under invention licenses by RIKEN, Japan.

Two products of CUBIC-L (Product Number: T3740), and CUBIC-R+(N) (Product Number: T3983) or CUBIC-R+(M) (Product Number: T3741) are required for tissue-clearing.

The difference between CUBIC-R+(N) (Product No. T3983) and CUBIC-R+(M) (Product No. T3741):
CUBIC-R+(N) (Product No. T3983) is inexpensive and easier to handle because it raises less precipitation. The fluorescence signal may decay, but the fluorescence signals of samples in CUBIC-R+(N) can be observed for several days after immersion.
CUBIC-R+(M) (Product No. T3741) is superior in retaining the fluorescence signal. However, at low temperatures such as in winter, it may precipitate. In that case, it can be resolved by placing the sample at 37°C for a few days.
For these reasons, it is recommended to try CUBIC-R+(N) (Product No. T3983) first and then use CUBIC-R+(M) (Product No. T3741) if fluorescence signal cannot be found.
