Simple Text Search

・Suggestion Function
The search bar will show several suggestions as you type your keyword(s).
・Site Content & Product Category Search
Products, product categories, and other content are all searchable from the search bar.
 

1, Enter your search keyword(s) in the search textbox.
Suggested products will be listed. Click the desired product.

By separating keywords with spaces you can search for multiple products.
For example, enter "Acetyl Butyl" to search for product names containing both the words "Acetyl" and "Butyl".
 

2, Search Function
Please see instructions below on how to use the Search Function.

Item	Tips on how to enter keywords
CAS Register Number	Hyphens should be used (e.g. 514-10-3). You can search either by complete or partial number.
TCI Product Number	Enter one letter followed by 4 numbers (e.g. A0001). You can search either by complete or partial number. If you enter the unit size, the search results will not be correct (e.g. A0001-500g).
Other Keywords	Enter 2 letters or more. In case of Greek letters, enter it with English spelling and not as a Greek letter (e.g. alpha).

3, Search results are displayed in 4 categories. The number of hits are indicated in parentheses.
Products: List of products that have search keywords in the product name
Categories: List of product categories that have search keywords in the category name 　
Content: List of website content that has search keywords in the text
Documents: List of documents that have search keywords in the text

Select the 'Relevance' drop-down menu to sort the display order of the search results.

【New Function】
・Facet Function
You can refine your search by selecting the criteria that match your product from the facets in each category.
The number of hits are indicated in parentheses.

In the "Category" facet at the bottom, you can filter the products hit in the search by product category.
You can further narrow down the selection from the selected category.
