Application
Tolazamide: A Sulfonylurea (SU) Compound
Tolazamide (U-17835) is a sulfonylurea (SU) compound used in the treatment of non-insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus. Tolazamide appears to lower blood glucose acutely by stimulating the release of insulin from the pancreas, an effect that depends on the function of beta cells in the pancreatic islets. (The product is for research purpose only.)
