Previously this product had been labeled as a hydrate form both in product name and molecular formula. The hydrate form had no exclusive CAS RN and used to share the same CAS RN as the anhydrous form.

Pramiracetam: A Racetam Agent with Amnesia-Reversal Activity
Pramiracetam, a racetam agent, was initially synthesized from piracetam [CAS: 7491-74-9]. Reportedly, pramiracetam has amnesia-reversal activity and improve cognitive deficits associated with traumatic brain injuries. Pramiracetam show affinity for common central nervous system (CNS) receptors, but there is no universally accepted mechanism of action for it. (The product is for research purpose only.)
